Budgets
Why doesn't a gift count against my budget?
By default, newly created gifts do not count against your budgets. In order to count them, you need to tap the box to the left of the gift's name on a person's gift list. In other words, the app doesn't consider the gift as being purchased until you check it off.
How do I see how much is still available in my budget?
How do I see how much I have spent from my budget?
The app will display how much is remaining in each person's budget on the main "Person" list by default, and will display the total remaining in all budgets at the bottom. Tapping on the bottom blue bar of the app (the one that displays totals) will flip the values displayed between the available and spent balances. This also works for individual budgets.
How do I delete a person?
While viewing the main "Person" screen, swipe your finger from right to left across the row corresponding to the person that you want to delete, which will cause a red Delete button to appear. Tap this button to delete the person
How do I edit a person's name or budget amount?
Tap on the person's name on the main People list to display their gifts list screen. There will be a light blue gears icon in the middle of the "snow pile" towards the bottom of the screen. Tap this gears button to bring up the settings screen for that person.
How do I delete a gift?
While viewing a person's gifts screen, swipe your finger from right to left across the row corresponding to the gift that you want to delete, which will cause a red Delete button to appear. Tap this button to delete the gift
How do I edit a gift?
While viewing a person's gifts screen, tap your finger on the row corresponding to the gift that you want to delete (anywhere but on the box to the left of the gift's name), which will display the details for that gift. You can edit any of its settings from this screen.
How do I remove the picture a set for a gift?
There is currently no way to clear a gift's picture completely once one has been set. You can delete and re-create the gift if you must remove its picture. A future update will add the ability to clear pictures from existing gifts.
How do I turn off/on PIN protection?
Tap on the light blue lock icon in the "snow pile" towards the bottom of the main "People" list. This will display the PIN screen where you can easily turn it on/off.
